RedR India Consortium · SLF RFP SLFRFP01102026 · 50 districts, 5 States, 11 clusters

Who delivers where, and how far teams travel

Each cluster has one hub, one team (a Master Trainer and two Trainers), one Cluster Coordinator and one equipment set. Distances are estimated road kilometres from the hub district headquarters (straight line × 1.3). Over 250 km is flagged in red.

What the revised version changes

  1. Chengalpattu and Krishnagiri swap. Chengalpattu moves from the Tiruchirappalli cluster (about 330 km) to the Chennai cluster (about 70 km). Krishnagiri moves from Chennai (about 300 km) to a Salem-based western cluster (about 125 km). JS Consultancy delivers Chengalpattu and RedR India delivers Krishnagiri. Both members need to agree to this.
  2. The western Tamil Nadu hub moves from Coimbatore to Salem, and Namakkal joins the Tiruchirappalli cluster (about 100 km). Every Tamil Nadu district is then within about 210 km of its hub.
  3. Nagpur and Tinsukia become satellite districts. Both are about 500 km from their hubs and can't be reached by road in a day. Each gets one extra travel day, a locally hired mobiliser, and an overnight train for the team. Spearhead's PWD Nagpur work and RedR India's ASDMA presence give a local first contact.
  4. Everything else stays as submitted: 50 districts, 11 clusters, the same languages and teams, and the same split of districts between members.
